SUMMER OF [2oh1oh!]

So how's your summer been so far? I'm so glad it's finally here! Now that exams are all over I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders! :P
Only the first week has past and I already experienced A LOT of summer fun! (which explains why I haven't updated or made any vids even though I'm free)

Hmm, the last day of school was veeeery emotional for me though! I cried A LOT. Waaay more than I expected to. My eyes were like faucets! I think I scared a couple people away too...ehehe ^_^;
I catch myself zoning out about my friends sometimes and how I'll prolly never see some of them again... AHHH~ okay okay. MOVING ON~

Anyways my whole family decided it would be fun to go fishing this past weekend! Only thing was, no one was really fishing haha. Like, I think it was just an excuse to get away from the city lol Our bait was "adobo" [filipino dish, sort of like a chicken stew] and marshmallows "-__- so of course we caught nothing!
BHUUUT, as always, lots of pictures were taken ;D

So I did LOTS of stuff this weekend almost everything! (except make a YT vid ^^;)
I saw Sherek 3D (YAY!) and Robin Hood (BOO!) in the theaters, slept over @ my cousins house, went shopping, dyed my hair (reddish-brownish color) and did my nails (my fimo and rhinstones arrived!) Oh, and my cousin (gLacey-unnie) got a new camera that is SUUUUPER pro! WOWOWOW, it takes such magical pictures! xD

Wowowow, I haven't realized that I haven't updated in literally forever! Along with my youtube acc. I haven't been keeping up with aixkute style lately xO

So I ordered my first BB Cream a few weeks ago!
WTF is BB Cream?
WELL, thanks for asking! I actually wasn't sure myself when I ordered it xD I just knew it was supposed to be really good and that it was pretty pricey. BHUT, now I can say that I know what it is ^^ Although I couldn't read ANY of the labels on the back of the product (it was all in korean), thank goodness for google search :)
So BB Cream - a.k.a blemish balm cream is pretty much a foundation that is 100 times better! Not only does it cover your "blemishes" like regular foundation, but it also HEALS your skin! Also, depending on which BB Cream you order, some also have whitening, anti-wrinking, scar healing formulas! Aside from working as a foundation and miracle cream, BB Cream is also works as a moisturizer, sunscreen and a makeup base!

okay, so when I first put it on, my skin looked and felt SOOOO smooth! It also looked lighter! I don't usually wear foundation regularly - only on special occasions, but I could resist the BB Cream! xD For the first week I'd just place it under my eyes and on my blemishes, and gradually it became a daily routine. My skin feels much much smoother and softer. But I have abnormally dry skin so I think I'll look for a Dry Skin BB Cream next time I order! xD
But overall, I'm really really happy with this product! :D

I finished watching the Taiwanese drama "Devil Beside You" a few weeks ago, and I made a braided hair tutorial inspired by the main character Yue Qi (played by Rainie Yang!). I just didn't have the time to edit and voice over. I'll try to voice over and upload tonight~ so look out for that! :)

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

So today I just realized that happiness is a privilege. It's weird how sad/upsetting moments always linger on your mind and are thought of first. But happy moments are always remembered second, or most of the time, forgotten. Does that mean pain affects us more than happiness? or are the happy moments just not happy enough to affect us in the way pain does?

"without pain the joy in life wouldn't show" isn't that so true? haha.

Well anyways, yesterday I had a VEEEEEERY happy day, and I'm sure I won't forget about it :)

I took the Train for the first time in my life~ I'd always see it on dramas and movies, but having a dad to be my chauffeur, I rarely ever result to public transit.

HONESTLY, I didn't even know there were trains in my city until a while ago ^^;

I really need to get out more haha.

w/ my girlies by my side, I faced public transit and explored around my city. It's a day i'll never forget. I know I probably sound stupid, or like a baby, but I've never really explored my town before XD

I dunno, it doesnt sound like much, but for some reason, for me it is :P

so the day started off with a picnic & awesome swirly straws in the shape of glasses!

We also had a photoshoot (pics later)

&danced around as people looked @ us like we were mental patients

Afterward we took the TRAIN and headed to the University!

We got lost in the library and decided to make our way downtown

& then back home :P

So it was overall an AMAZING DAY. Today, I got my acceptance letter into the school I want to go to next year~ WHOOOOOOT! Time to celebrate....

ANYWHOO, my JA (Junior Achievement) company called SUERTE (meaning lucky in italian, spanish and tagalog) finally started sales this week! HORRAY! Everyone had to sell at least 10 bracelets and I did after one day ^^;

Some members are having difficulties though, esp. those who go to a super Asian-crazed high school *cough cough mac* They told me that no one likes our product >.>

But we worked hard on our bracelets! I bought 2 :P

Today was Ski Day for my school! Me, being super uncoordinated obviously DID NOT go skiing. Instead I stayed in the warm chalet, playing "UFO-Catcher" with my friends. Woah they probably spent at least $50.oo on that thing!

iyaaa~ I can't believe how much one month can do to someone! Things change in an instant ne? Right when you feel secure about where you are, you can't! Ughh, I've gotten so much more responsibilities this month and from now on I'll only get more >.>

But I've also become a more outgoing and friendly person. Which I never thought could ever happen! I've always been so shy, quiet and to myself until I joined JA. Sure, I still feel stupid when I'm there, but my stupidity makes me who I am and I think I've found some people who accept that about me.

I also embarrassed myself so much this month. Not in terms of actions persay, but in words. I said things I usually would never have the guts to say and courage turns into embarrassment for me.

Another month in 2010 over and another one making it's way. The weather is changing, the earth revolving and the sun brightly shining through my window.

OFFICAL - circle lenses arrived

MINA~~ My circles are finally here!

I had to soak them for 12 hours and I finally got to try them on this morning ^^

okay, so theres some pros and cons to this whole circle lens facade, want me to tell you?

PROS:

- makes eyes HUGE and DOLLY-like

- pretty, natural colors

- SO CUUUTE~ like holy, take my word for it ;)

- makes eyes more attractive

- comes in MANY colors and varieties

- comes in plain, prescription AND even astigmatism ~

CONS:

- makes eyeballs DRY

- stings if you keep them in too long - because no oxygen is going in your eye because the lens is too big

- when eyeballs are dry, makes eyeballs red and vein-y

- can't wear them for too long

- not recommended by optometrists

- can cause blinding

- limited colors and types for people with astigmatism :(

Okay, so theres my two-cents worth. I went to a 'monopoly challenge' today xD It was funner than I expected :) People are NOT out to eat you apparently ^^ now I know haha.

So since I feel like a REAL ulzzang because I have circles, I have given myself an ulzzang name! It's MIKOU (which was my nickname already w/ the HSRG) either that or AIXKUTE. So Ai-zzang UWAAAH, that's cuter~ but doesnt sound like a real name... hmm.. i'll think about it XD

FEB FUN

Minaaa~ cheesy title ne? ahah gome, it's 1:00am i cant think of anything better! Today was suuuuuch an amzaaaaaaaaazing day! I had so much fun w/ my friends! We had a valentine's day dance at my school, which was disastrous because my soon to be closed school has no money to get a decent dj and lights "-__- [insert sigh and eye roll here] but it was a formal dance. HA, nice cover up for a crappy dj, teachers. I actually had fun though, not as fun as the other dances i've been too, but it was ALRIGHT. I still hyped it up and burned alot of cals [thumbs up]. My friends and I also took a crap load of pictures on my DADDY'S new cam. AHAH, he just bought it and i convinced him to let me use it first ^^ it's so amazingly pro~ i LOVE it oh so much!

I ALSO, got 6 flower grams which were coronations, because, once again, my soon to be closed school has no money to afford roses! -__-; but i was happy i got 6! Last year i only got 1~ hmm, what an improvement! But 3 were from my 'gal pals' and 3 were from 1 secret admirer although I found out who he was actually he told me >.<" im really grateful to him though ^^ it's been a while since i've felt loved (aprox. 2 months! LOL)

After school, i went to my BFFL's belated b-day party~ we went to her house and ordered 6 pizzas! (well her mom did, she only wanted like 4) :O and then afterward we went GLOW IN THE DARK MINI GOLFING! It was so funny cause none of us really knew how to play properly, so we didnt even bother keeping score, and just ran down the holes swinging our sticks around and taking craazzy pictures ahah. The people behind us were probably really overwhelmed at some point...

So after that, we walked around the mall and some of my friends bought helium balloons! so that we could make our voices go all high, but they popped before the helium made it in any of our mouths :"( so instead of helium we danced, played twister and did prank phone calls :)

OVERALL: A SUUUPER-DEEE-DOOOOPER FUN FUN DAY~ s2

you all know that i've been calorie counting ne? well saturdays are my CHEAT days and OH am i REALLY happy during those 24-hours! unfortunately it is now sunday and my cheat day is over :"( it was amazing while it lasted! I ate SOOOOOO much! i went to the extreme this time. I promised myself that i wouldnt eat the world during my cheat day, but i think i almost did this time! ahaha so lets start off.

Friday night, exactly at 12:00am I raced into the living room and grabbed a chocolate covered macadamia nut, 2 hershy kisses, 1 lyndor and stuffed that into my mouth. Next i ran to the dining room and grabbed my favorite sweet coconut-y bun and stuffed that in my mouth too, then i finally made my way into the kitchen and spotted the cookie jar... (yes, we have one xD ) I grabbed a double chocolate chunk cookie and roamed in the fridge and found some banana bread. We were out of milk at the time so i made hot chocolate instead ^^ i passed out full and dreaming about what i would eat when i woke up.

Breakfast: rice, sausage, eggs, spam, hot chocolate, pamelo, fruit mini's

Lunch: Taco Bell~ big bell box meal includes : 5 layer beef burito, hard/soft taco, nachos, cinnimon swirls and a diet coke. DQ~ small oreo blizzard ^^

Dinner: KFC~ chicken drumstick and popcorn chicken w/ rice & gravy. 2 pieces of pizza, strawberry layer cake, oreo cake, litchy plan, coke and tortilla chips w/ dip

OH.MY.GULAY. - my week

ohhh i had/have a loong list of tests this week! x0 Social on Monday (76% i consider failed >.<" i cried and got in trouble w/ my parents) that day was also my first junior achievement meeting. Tuesday, NO SCHOOL, THANK GAWD~ Wednesday, Science Chem. Test (94% suuper happy, but social mark made me sad still) Thursday (today) L.A Mid-Term - zomg i hope i did good... Friday (TGIF - tmrw) Math Mid-Term + L.A Quiz. AHHHH~ feb. has started soo icky. But next week theres a valentines day dance & the week after all i have is field trips :)

VALENTiNES DAY (aixkute's definition) : anniversary of my grandpa's death, no one gives those cute cards or candy anymore, i've never had a real valentine, roses are too expensive, and a sappy, love-sick day out of the year when everyone is suddenly in just a lovey dovey mood. It's sickening. But pink and chocolate is a good thing :)

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT (aixkute's definition): a place where i feel stupid because it is filled with super-smart people. Not as horrendous as i expected. Too business like. Big words frighten me. Cute Asians that have good hair and fashion sense but are also scarily smart. Im the youngest person there - besides c.r. i dont share any options because i'm too scared. Sounded fob during introductions. Extra homework & less time on my life. It's like a night class, but im excited to go again next week ;)
